This all wootz steel Kard has a remarkable and rare hilt type, of wootz steel. The hilts has lovely high contrast crystalline wootz showcasing its vivid pattern. It seems to have had a period repair at some point in its life where brass has been used repair it. In very good condition.
Blade description:
The Kard has a characteristic blade typically found in Rajasthan. A nice blade of fine grain wootz with evidence of edge hardening towards the tip. A rare example of an all steel kard dagger.
