 Hilt description:

This Kukri has a lovely, elegant bone hilt of characteristic form. Missing its pommel cap it shows nice age and colouring to the bone. The hilt is completed with steel bolsters.

Blade description:

This Kukri has a characteristic elegant blade form, consisting of 2 deep fullers along its spine which stop as the blade begins to widen towards the tip. The famous notch is present in the shape of a trident. It is well weighted, and a higher quality blade than usually seen on kukris.

Scabbard description:

This incredible red velvet over wood scabbard is adorned with copious amounts of silver. Both the throat piece and the chape are lavishly decorated with scrollwork in the silver mountings. The choke harbours a rectangular section within which it holds an engraved gold panel. Under this rests an elegant flower made entirely of silver and held to the scabbard with braided silver wire. The Karda and Chakmak, the small accompanying daggers are present in their pouch but are in poor condition, one missing its bone hilt.

This is a fine example of a kukri and a piece which would set apart the collection of a kukri connoisseur.
